Room 6 Vehicle Designs made for a Disaster in the City

On Monday afternoon Room 6 designed their own vehicle to help in an emergency.   The children were given a scenario.  They had to imagine that their city had a major earthquake.    There is An emergency in the city centre where a ten storey building with people still inside has been caught on fire.  The children had to design a vehicle that had to get through a landslide, a car blocking and rubble to get to the building and resuce the people.
With the materials we had in class the children in their groups designed their vehicles.  Watch the videos to see what they came up with.
