Soundscapes

Today in Room 6 we created our own soundscapes using classroom instruments. Before we created our own soundscapes Miss Lologa talked about what soundscapes are and how to create one.

Miss Lologa chose a Winter theme to base our soundscape on. First we brainstormed as many words to describe winter. We then decided we would create a stormy day soundscape. We had lots of fun. After we went into groups to create our very own ones.

Miss Lologa drew patterns on the whiteboard to represent the different instruments played. She would use the pointer to go along the patterns and we would follow and know when to play our instrument. It was a cool musical experience!
